About Larnaca Beach Volleyball
Larnaca Beach Volleyball is a premier beach volleyball organization dedicated to promoting the sport in Cyprus and beyond. Founded in 2018, we have been organizing tournaments, training sessions, and community events to grow the beach volleyball community.
Our mission is to create a vibrant beach volleyball culture that welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. We believe in the power of sport to bring people together and create lasting memories.
Over the years, we have hosted numerous successful tournaments, attracting players from all over Cyprus and neighboring countries. Our events are known for their competitive spirit, fair play, and friendly atmosphere.
Demetris Vittis
Founder
Demetris is one of the founders of Larnaca Beach Volleyball with a vision to create a thriving beach volleyball community in Cyprus. With a strong athletic background, including first division experience, and deep passion for the sport, he brings leadership and energy to the organization.
Under his guidance, Larnaca Beach Volleyball is growing from a small local initiative into a recognized name in the Cyprus beach volleyball scene.
Alex Alexandrou
Co-Founder
Alex is one of the founders of Larnaca Beach Volleyball and a dedicated beach volleyball teammate of Demetris. He studies and competes in volleyball at Missouri Valley College in the USA, bringing international experience and energy to the organisation. His passion for the game is a key part of the team's drive to elevate beach volleyball in Cyprus.
Max Zubkov
Co-Founder
Max is one of the founders of Larnaca Beach Volleyball. With experience playing in Cyprus first division and a background in sports science, he brings both knowledge and professionalism to the team.
He is a highly responsible and well-organized person who helps keep tournaments running smoothly.
Lefteris Adamou
Live Stream Manager
Lefteris manages the live streams of all Larnaca Beach Volleyball games on YouTube. He's studying Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a fast learner with a strong problem-solving mindset.
With deep knowledge in live-streaming and IT, he plays a key role in the team's digital and technical operations.
Toffee Demetriou
PR, Entertainment & Referee
Toffee is a part of the Larnaca Beach Volleyball team, handling PR, entertainment, and refereeing duties. With experience in Cyprus first division and college volleyball in the USA, he brings both skill and flair to every event. Known for his energetic and passionate personality, Toffee keeps the atmosphere lively and engaging on and off the court.
Panayiotis Stephanou
Referee
Panayiotis is a key member of the Larnaca Beach Volleyball team and one of our main referees. WIth years of experience in both indoor and beach volleyball, he brings a calm and steady presence to every match. Always ready to help and support the team, Panayiotis is a reliable figure both on the court and behind the scenes.
Oleh Perlovskyi
Co-Pilot & Technical Manager
Oleh joined Larnaca Beach Volleyball in 2025. As the Technical person, he helps with composing schedules, tournament grids and digitalizing around a system.
